This is a rare opportunity to be part of the 1 Cadillac dealership in New England \n Responsibilities: \n \n Greet customers and offer excellent customer service from intake to release of their vehicles \n Determine and diagnose car issues based on customer description and vehicle condition \n Translate customer-reported problems to actionable work orders for technicians to complete \n Order necessary parts from suppliers and double-check that they are delivered to technicians \n Ensure that automotive work provided to customers meets company quality standards \n Invoice and collect payment from customers for services rendered \n Handle and resolve customer complaints regarding services \n Maintain customer records and enter data into computer databases \n Qualifications for Service Advisor \n Working knowledge and experience of automotive products, repairs and parts \n Secondary education in the automotive field or equivalent work experience \n Strong communication skills and the ability to translate customer needs to workable technician orders \n Basic knowledge of computer programs including word processing and database tools \n Organizational skills including the ability to schedule appointments, meet with customers and ensure that work is done properly \n Exceptional customer service skills based on experience \n Continuing education and knowledge acquisition on the function and repair of newer vehicles \n Basic mathematics skills to prepare and process bills and customer payment \n Ability to communicate complicated automotive processes to customers who may only have basic automotive knowledge \n \n Benefits Include \n \n Aggressive, Performance-Based Earning Potential \n Paid Vacation \n Health & Dental Insurance \n 401(k) \n \n Excellent customer service skills \n Confident ability to work independently \n Process driven, with great organizational skills and attention to details \n The desire to be successful in a fun, fast-paced, high-volume highly motivational environment \n
