(ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1
year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings.

considered. An educational institution in Providence, RI, is
seeking a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to provide essential
communication support for students and staff. This role involves
facilitating clear, accurate, and effective communication between
hearing-impaired students and their peers, teachers, and other
school personnel. The position requires travel to various locations
within the district, ensuring accessibility and support across
multiple sites. Key Responsibilities: Interpret spoken language
into sign language and vice versa for students, educators, and
visitors. Support classroom instruction, extracurricular
activities, meetings, and school events. Collaborate closely with
educators and support staff to adapt instructional materials as
needed. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all
interactions. Travel to different school locations as required to
provide consistent support. Qualifications: Proficiency in American
Sign Language (ASL) and knowledge of deaf culture. Experience
working as a sign language interpreter in educational settings
preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability
to travel within the district for assigned job duties. Commitment

Location: Providence, Rhode Island This role offers an opportunity
