Job Description:

The Process Engineering will be part of a dynamic system implementation team responsible for defining and managing all methods of manufacturing processes across multiple locations, driving manufacturing standards, driving solutions for our unique production challenges, implementing continuous improvement activities, and helping to implement or improve existing systems to increase the maturity of how we handle processes and manufacture our products.

The Process Engineer will work closely with the Plant management, engineering and design teams, production planning and scheduling teams, Quality and inspection teams, finance, and manufacturing teams to achieve success. This hybrid position will be based in the Rowley, Mass location, with project activity that will take place across different sites and business functions and locations.

This role will be responsible for coordinating and managing all necessary project activity, and resources throughout the entire project from start-up through closeout. This position will work closely with the project sponsor, functional leaders, project team, and interfaces with internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:

Act as process engineering lead and key implementation team member on cross functional integration team

Scope, document and Implement MES and ERP Systems and integrations

Supports all manufacturing system objectives through teamwork and collaboration

Provide weekly and monthly reporting for key metrics, projects & improvement initiatives

Perform system and manufacturing process analysis to drive efficiencies and standards

Define and configure product master, bills of material, methods of manufacturing and processes in Epicor Kinetic system

Implement MES system and integrations with manufacturing equipment

Project management, Documentation, and implementation support

Work with cross functional teams to quickly integrate acquisitions with HPC

Engages employees in problem resolution to improve production issues/efficiencies by utilizing lean manufacturing techniques

Must demonstrate effective communication skills, both written and verbal

Must be innovative and open to new concepts / ideas to improve organizational objectives

Must be able to work under minimal supervision and in a cross functional team

Create and Manage data Imports for products and methods of manufacturing

Work with cross functional integration team to learn and document current manufacturing processes and develop transition plan to new systems and standards

Use SQL to Translate Legacy Route/Methods of Manufacture to New System Standards

Provide Status updates on Integration Miles Stones

Work with extended teams to identify and collect needed Part Record information across Multi ERP Ecosystem

Subject matter expert on Part and Manufacturing setup and process

Train Engineering teams during acquisition integrations on system setup, process, and data management

Work with individual plant sites to keep system records in sync with best practice standards across a multiERP Ecosystem

Identifying Risks to Data Health and current processes and working with owners to mitigate

education, experience and skills:

Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Business, Mechanical, Industrial, Systems with 4+ years

Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills

Excellent interpersonal skills, with emphasis on teamwork.

Ability to understand, communicate, and create technical manufacturing documentation

Strong analytical, research, and related skills

Solid project & time management skills

Required experience with good documentation practices and standards

Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.

Ability to manage priorities, deliverables, and schedule

Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.

Highly organized, with attention to detail and follow through.

Ability to lead cross functional teams in a relationship-based environment.

Experience with ERP or MES manufacturing Systems such as Epicor Kinetic, Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, Siemens, Rockwell Automation, Epicor MATTEC MES or similar Enterprise solutions

Proficient with MS Office 365 products, SQL, T/SQL,

Knowledge of manufacturing processes, scheduling, planning, costing and procurement
