On every engagement, you will work alongside our team of former CTOs and CEOs with deep software expertise to learn from the best.Your key responsibilitiesAs a Senior Director at EY-Parthenon, you'll be at the forefront of building the Software Strategy Group's practice for the long term. Your role will involve building trusting relationships with key clients, by leading and delivering high-impact product- and technology-focused strategy and diligence engagements.You will inspire high-performance teams, fostering an inclusive environment that brings a diverse set of backgrounds to the table. You'll mentor and develop the next generation of consultants, building a talent pipeline that's ready to support you as a partner. You will leverage the firm's and your own consulting expertise and industry experience to deliver executive-level insights, guiding clients through complex challenges with clarity and precision. You will build and maintain strong client relationships, spearhead business development, and drive growth for both your clients and EY-Parthenon.Skills and attributes and success

• Bring your strategic mindset and versatility to client discussions, leveraging the firm's offerings end-to-end to solve challenging problems.
• Play a leadership role in helping grow the Software Strategy Group business.
• Be a thought leader, inspiring your team with innovative ideas and delivering compelling storylines to senior clients, leading teams in the execution of both product and technology due diligence and value creation engagements for software companies.
• Develop a network of client and EY relationships, managing dynamics to build buy-in and move work forward.
• Be the "go-to" expert for clients, partners, and account teams, driving new business and extending engagements.
• Enable decisions, actions, and results for clients, bringing together the right team to make a tangible impact.
• Lead diverse teams with inclusivity and integrity, role modeling EY values while developing the next generation. Manage, develop, and mentor junior team members from entry level to experienced Director.
• Experience managing M&A strategic diligence projects in complex environments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams on complex assignments and develop individual team members.
• Strong quantitative skills to supervise data analysis, interpret output and generate insights.
• Ability to make detailed assessments of industry, products, markets, competitors and customers to identify risks and opportunities.
• Proficient in the English language, including the ability to listen, understand, read and communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, in a professional environment.
• The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary.Ideally, you'll also have
  • MBA or related graduate degree with at least 3 to 6 years of post-graduate-school related work experience with a particular focus on client advisory or strategic planning within a professional services environment.
  • Expertise in multiple software sectors (e.g., ERP, CRM, HCIT, FinTech, etc.).

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $250,000 to $290,000. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year. Under our flexible vacation policy, you'll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances.
