(ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1
year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings.

considered. Seeking a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to support
communication needs within a school environment in Pawtucket, RI.
This role involves providing interpreting services to facilitate
effective interaction between deaf and hard-of-hearing students,
staff, and the school community. The position includes travel to
various school settings as required. Key Responsibilities:
Interpret spoken language into American Sign Language (ASL) and
vice versa in educational settings. Facilitate clear communication
between students, teachers, administration, and families. Attend
meetings, classes, and school events to provide interpreting
support. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
of the interpreting profession. Collaborate with educational staff
to support student learning and inclusion. Qualifications and
Desired Experience: Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
with strong interpreting skills. Experience working as a sign
language interpreter in educational settings preferred. Knowledge
of Deaf culture and effective communication strategies. Ability to
travel to multiple school locations as needed. Excellent
interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity. Certification from a
recognized interpreting organization is a plus. Location:
