***Applicant are permitted to work remotely from an at home work
site anywhere in the United States*** Develops solutions using database technologies (Oracle and
Pl/SQL ETL) and mid-tier technologies (Java/Spring). Develops
solutions using Cloud deployment and services. Writes clean,
testable, readable, and easily maintainable code in an Agile
software delivery environment. Delivers programming solutions using
an Acceptance Test development (ATDD) approach. Provides business
solutions by developing complex or multiple software
applications. Primary Responsibilities: • Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going
development efforts. • Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and
for/in multiple platforms. • Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several
divisional initiatives. • Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to
implementation. • Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance
testing. • Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications
supporting several corporate initiatives. • Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems. • Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope. • Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a
project. • Performs independent and complex technical and functional
analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer
Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,
Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3)
years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of
experience designing and developing applications using Oracle
PL/SQL concepts and RDMS concepts, including ETL process using
Informatica, in a financial services environment. Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely
related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or
one (1) year of experience designing and developing applications
using Oracle PL/SQL concepts and RDMS concepts, including ETL
process using Informatica, in a financial services environment. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: • Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) performing PL/SQL application
development and live production deployment; designing and
developing backend applications on various Oracle versions, using
Oracle PL/SQL and Java; designing and developing Tivoli jobs to
automate and schedule end-to-end batch processes; fine-tuning SQL
queries to optimize application performance; evaluating the Explain
plan and statistics for the query performance, using SQL Tuner,
Statspack, and AWR reports; and developing logical and physical
database design, using Erwin Data modeler. • DE developing Perl and UNIX shell scripts for designing and
implementing workflow processes; running shell scripts through
Tivoli and Active batch job scheduler to process several backend
database activities and create log files that track job progress;
designing and implementing Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL)
processes by developing mappings and workflows using Informatica
tool, and SQL* Loader. • DE migrating mainframe/VB6-based applications to distributed
applications, using Java/.Net, ORM related frameworks, and
relational databases – Oracle, DB2 and Sql Server; deploying and
configuring continuous build and automated deployments, using GIT
and Jenkins; storing in source code, using version control tools
such as SVN, TFS, and Harvest. • DE improving overall test strategy by reducing time and cost
during the application development processing, using acceptance
test-driven development (ATDD) and behavior-driven development
(BDD); performing Integration and end-to-end application testing,
and performing smoke tests after production deployments, using
