Inpatient Psychiatry Job Opening in Lynn, MA Located 10 miles from Boston Position Details: - Per Diem - Inpatient Adult Psychiatrist. - 30-bed inpatient unit - Typical workdays start between 8 AM and 9 AM and the attending is able to leave when their work for the day is completed. - Psychiatrist must be available by page until 5:30 PM. - Overnight and weekend call is not required; however, it is encouraged and generously remunerated above the base salary. - New/upcoming graduates welcome to apply - The practice treats patients with severe and persistent mental illness (schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and borderline personality disorder). Not infrequently, patients with dual diagnoses are also managed on the unit, so it is pertinent this individual be comfortable with managing opioid and alcohol/benzodiazepine in these instances. - The usual attending caseload is approximately 10, but this can go up to 14 during times of additional coverage required by other physician absences. - Strong clinical support team.
