Job Description:

group practice that provides outpatient opioid, and alcohol
addiction treatment services is currently seeking an experienced
Nurse Practitioner to work in an Outpatient clinic. This is a 20 -
40 hour per week position. Applicants should possess expertise in
consultation with individuals who need emotional, psychological,
and behavioral support. Program clinicians will work
collaboratively with the nurse to provide comprehensive approaches
to patients' needs.
The group currently operates five well-established practices in
Massachusetts and is developing the capability to expand rapidly to
meet the needs of patients suffering from opioid and alcohol
addiction.
The groups care model includes medical care, counseling,
comprehensive toxicology testing, case management and medical
management of psychiatric medications
The Nurse Practitioner works under the supervision of the Medical
Director and is a member of a multi-disciplinary team tasked with
providing office-based Buprenorphine services to mentally ill,
often homeless, and chemically affected adults experiencing opioid
dependence, who have significant barriers to accessing treatment
resources.
The ARNP is responsible for providing Medication Assisted Treatment
(MAT) medical services; Buprenorphine inductions and prescriptions;
evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment; crisis stabilization;
referral to rehabilitation services; and coordination with
community providers, as necessary.
Experience in the field of addiction medicine is preferred but not
required. We welcome applications from Nurse Practitioners licensed
in Massachusetts who are waivered to prescribe Buprenorphine.
