Job Description:
Occupational Therapist, Early Intervention
Up to $5,000 Sign on Bonus based on experience.
Occupational Therapists at Aspire provide home and community visits
with skillful intervention to infants and toddlers with a variety
of diagnoses with a focus on improving the client's development in
the areas of fine and gross motor skills, play skills, social
skills and self-care skills within the professional scope of
practice. The role will require all therapists to work as part of a
multi-disciplinary team conducting developmental evaluations,
providing intervention in the form of therapy, counseling and
training to client's caregiver(s).

REQUIREMENTS
- Doctorate/Masters Occupational Therapy
- Occupational Licensure in Massachusetts
- A high level of professionalism and organizational skills
- Proficient in using Office 365 applications (Word, Excel,
Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Reliable transportation - Comfortable working in homes (studio
apt., homes, etc.)
CLINICAL/THERAPY - ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES
- Provide services in a home/community, serve culturally and
linguistically diverse families, enjoy working with individuals of
all ages, races, religious backgrounds, and personalities
- Conduct formal and informal Developmental Evaluations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Apply interventions to maximize children's safety and performance
in daily life
- Assess clients using a variety of tools, assess client's home and
other environments and advise on alterations consistent with their
needs and capabilities
- Recommend adaptive equipment and train in its use
- Provide intervention in the form of direct therapy (group or
individual), consultation, monitoring, and/or written programs
- Maintain confidentiality in accordance with organizational
policies and procedures related to privacy
- Complete professional documentation according to Aspire and DPH
procedures
