Job Description WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a local contract nursing job in Salem, Massachusetts. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Labor and Delivery - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a prestigious hospital in Salem, MA. Job Function: /n - Night Shift. /n - 7pm - 7:30am. /n - Categorizes patients in the appropriate level of classification. /n /n - Applies external fetal monitor and interprets fetal heart tracing and uterine activity. /n /n - Implements interventions based on fetal heart rate patterns and maternal status during labor. /n /n - Identifies emergencies, observes age-specific needs, and notifies provider accordingly. /n /n - Administers medication following the five rights of safety and infection control or per provider's orders. /n /n /n Job Requirements: /n - Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN). /n /n - Current RN license for the state of Massachusetts. /n /n - 3 years of acute care experience in this specialty. /n /n - BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications from the American Heart Association. /n /n - Fetal Monitoring Certificate preferred. /n /n /n /n Disclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
