Experience: Minimum 3 years required License: Current RN License
Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: TNCC preferred,
familiarity with Meditech Description: An excellent opportunity for
an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse is available. In
this fast-paced position, the Emergency Room RN provides direct
care. The RN evaluates outcomes and consults with other specialties
as required. Adjustments to the nursing care process are made as
indicated to ensure optimal patient care. Working well under
pressure is essential. The RN collaborates with other health team
members to coordinate medical and nursing management of patient
care. The Emergency Department is busy and RNs must be able to
learn quickly. Proactive teamwork is vital. This rural Emergency
Department has nine beds and sees over 15,000 patients per year.
Expansion of the department is currently underway. This is a
not-for-profit independent hospital providing a variety of
services. Primary and preventive care, surgical and specialty
services, inpatient and outpatient care, and emergency services are
offered 24 hours a day. Please note that credentialing must be
completed in a timely manner to avoid delayed start dates. Holiday
