Tik Tok . Job Description The Discovery Neuroscience In Vivo
Pharmacology group in Cambridge, Massachusetts, is seeking a highly
skilled and self-motivated scientist to join a dynamic team
supporting target identification, validation, and drug transport
facilitation over brain barriers. The ideal candidate will have
strong hands on experience with various ex vivo analysis techniques
including biochemistry and qPCR. Key Responsibilities: Responsible
for design and implementation of ex vivo analysis of tissue samples
from in vivo studies testing multispecific biologics, small
molecules, and siRNAs to support projects in the areas of
Alzheimers and Parkinsons disease Identify and solve technical
problems independently, implement new assays and workflows,
conceive and implement innovative research ideas Ensure consistency
and quality of technical reports Present original work internally
across departments Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: BS or
equivalent education with typically 7 or more years of experience
or MS or equivalent education with typically 5 or more years of
experience. Degreein Neuroscience, Biological Sciences,
Pharmacology, or related discipline preferred. Experience with ex
vivo readouts including biochemistry (ELISA, WB), qPCR and
immunohistochemistry Proven track record of working in
multidisciplinary in vivo pharmacology teams Experience with in
vivo models of neurodegeneration, particularly with models of
Alzheimers and Parkinsons Disease Proven track record in
characterizing complex biotherapeutics in vivo (biologics, small
molecules, siRNA) Excellent organizational skills and the ability
to manage multiple studies simultaneously Candidate must be a
goal-oriented team player with excellent verbal and written
communication skills and strong can-do attitude Preferred
Qualifications: Experience with digital PCR and MSD assays
Experience with image analysis Additional Information Applicable
