Central Vermont Medical Center, a proud member of the University of Vermont Health Network, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Xray Supervisor to oversee our Radiology Department. This vital role involves managing the daily operations and ensuring high standards of radiographic services, directly contributing to our mission of community wellness and patient-centered care. As a supervisor, you will maintain radiology services that meet the needs of patients while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. The successful candidate will not only have a profound technical understanding of radiographic operations but also possess strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage the radiology team. Oversee daily operations of the radiology department Ensure all radiographic services are compliant with health and safety regulations Manage scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation efficiently Train and supervise radiology department staff, promoting ongoing professional development Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging Maintain accurate records of radiological services and patient outcomes Implement and monitor quality control measures Stay current with advancements in radiology and healthcare standards Strong leadership and organizational skills Expert knowledge in radiography and radiological procedures Ability to manage a diverse team and enhance teamwork Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in radiology information systems Capability to work under pressure and make decisions in urgent situations Attention to detail and precision in handling radiographic equipment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Valid state license as a qualified radiologic technologist
