Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation, a leader in facility-based and
home-based patient care, is looking for a Lead Dietitian to join
our multidisciplinary rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will
oversee the nutritional clinical operations and ensure that our
patients receive the highest standard of nutritional care. This
role is pivotal in developing patient diets, managing a team of
dietitians, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals
to enhance patient rehabilitation and recovery. Assess patient
needs and develop dietary care plans. Lead, mentor, and manage a
team of dietitians and nutritional staff. Collaborate with
healthcare providers to integrate dietary services and medical
care. Conduct nutritional research and stay updated with the latest
trends in dietetic technology and treatment. Ensure compliance with
healthcare regulations and dietary standards. Manage the dietary
department's budget and resources. Strong leadership and
organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills Expert knowledge of clinical nutrition and dietary care
plans Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
Proficient in dietary software and patient management systems
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Registered
Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certified by the Commission on
Dietetic Registration Licensed Dietitian (LD) in the state of
practice, if applicable
