Job Description Job Description Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1 year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A position is available for a skilled Cath Lab Technician with proficiency in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures. This role demands a dedicated professional capable of working within a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality patient care and accurate imaging support. Location This opportunity is based in Bristol, VA. The assignment involves floating between two medical centers, providing diverse clinical experiences and collaborative team environments within cardiac care specialties. Responsibilities Perform imaging and assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations. Adhere to patient safety protocols and maintain sterile techniques. Collaborate closely with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth procedural workflows. Participate in on-call rotations and occasional weekend coverage. Complete required orientations and competency validations as scheduled. Qualifications Current RCIS certification required. AHA BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory. Minimum of 5 years Cath Lab experience including charge responsibilities. Experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization labs. Flexibility to float between two facilities located within commuting distance. Must reside at least 100 miles from the hospital service area. Schedule 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM On-call approximately 10 days every 6 weeks, including every third weekend rotation. Additional Information Orientation includes 16 hours of nonbillable training, beginning online on Mondays. Staffing adjusts to patient volume without financial penalties for scheduled shift cancellations or changes. Overtime shifts provided as additional opportunities when available.
