Registered Nurse (RN) | Telemetry Location: Manchester, NH Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,364 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current RN license required Certifications: ACLS Must-Have: Cardiac telemetry knowledge ACLS knowledge/skills for cardiac medical and procedural patients Knowledge of cardiac drips Description: Unit Information: The unit has 23 beds and 1 treatment room. The staff consists of 58 members. Day shift includes a Charge Nurse, 6 RNs, 2 Patient Care Technicians, 1 Medical Technician, and 1 Department Coordinator until 7 PM. Night shift includes a Charge Nurse, 5 RNs, 2 Patient Care Technicians, and 1 Medical Technician. Patient ratios are 1:4 during day/evening shifts and 1:5 during night shifts. Type of equipment includes telemetry monitoring, portable pulse oximetry, and manual/automatic vital sign machines. The electronic medical record system is Allscripts, with medication scanning capabilities. The patient population includes hemodynamically stable myocardial infarction, acute/chronic heart failure, new onset atrial fibrillation, stable dysrhythmias, and procedural patients. Common procedures on the unit include cardiac catheterizations without intervention, pacemaker insertions, ablations, cardioversions, and medication infusions. Additional patient populations include ICU transfers, neurological patients, and pulmonary patients requiring non-invasive ventilation. The ideal candidate will possess strong cardiac telemetry skills, a solid medical-surgical background, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
