Program Manager at WHOOP, you will be a critical member of the team
that develops the next generation of models that will power the
features we can provide to members. This role sits at the
intersection of machine learning, data science, sensor
intelligence, platform engineering, and product, and is responsible
for translating complex technical work into clear plans,
dependencies, and outcomes to ensure projects are delivered on
time, aligned to strategy, and built for scale. Success in this
role will require a high degree of adaptability and a solutions
mindset, ability to simplify complexity, while continuously
managing shifting priorities. Foundational AI capabilities are
critical to our ability to innovate quickly and responsibly. This
role ensures that the underlying systems powering our features are
delivered thoughtfully, reliably, and in a way that unlocks impact
across the entire organization. RESPONSIBILITIES: Drive
Foundational AI projects from kickoff through development to
deployment and stabilization Support the VP of Foundational AI to
translate strategy into executable roadmaps with clear milestones,
risks, dependencies, and success metrics Develop project plans
consistent with business goals and requirements for algorithm
performance Establish and maintain program governance, including
planning cadences, status reporting, decision forums, and executive
communication Work with the FAI team, Data Science, Sensor
Intelligence, WHOOP Labs, Data Engineering, Software, Firmware to
ensure project objectives and priorities are aligned across
departments Bring together key stakeholders to facilitate timely
and lasting decision-making Partner with the broader RAD program
management team to continuously improve the development process to
enable execution of projects in an organized, methodical, and
predictable manner. Identify and manage project risks and issues,
ensuring mitigations are in place to reduce potential impacts.
Facilitate cross-functional communication across WHOOP for
awareness and understanding. Understanding of technical issues to
facilitate resolution of project blockers is a plus QUALIFICATIONS:
4 years of industry experience in program or project management,
preferably involving AI/ML, data platforms or large-scale systems
Experience working with research teams Familiarity with agile
methodologies, sprint planning, backlog grooming processes
Data-driven approach to strategic planning, comfortable reviewing
metrics and identifying ways to measure program success Familiarity
with AI/ML concepts (e.g., model training, inference, data
pipelines, evaluation, experimentation), hands-on coding experience
is not required Clear, confident communicator who can bridge deeply
technical teams and business stakeholders Proven ability to
influence without authority and drive alignment across diverse
teams Experience working with AI research or applied ML teams
preferred Background in consumer technology, platforms, or
data-driven products preferred Experience organizing projects using
Jira or similar platforms preferred Experience incorporating AI
tools into workflows This role is based in the WHOOP office located
in Boston, MA. The successful candidate must be prepared to
relocate if necessary to work out of the Boston, MA office.

as the combination of base salary, equity, and benefits, with
equity serving as a key differentiator that aligns our employees

company’s long-term growth and success. The U.S. base salary range
for this full-time position is $150,000-$215,000. Salary ranges are
determined by role, level, and location. Within each range,
individual pay is based on factors such as job-related skills,
experience, performance, and relevant education or training. In
addition to the base salary, the successful candidate will also
receive benefits and a generous equity package. These ranges may be
modified in the future to reflect evolving market conditions and
organizational needs. While most offers will typically fall toward
the starting point of the range, total compensation will depend on
the candidate’s specific qualifications, expertise, and alignment
