Job Description Job Description Commercial Litigation Attorney Established (40 Years) Premier Firm Seeking Associate Attorney for Civil Litigation in Boston, MA An established firm based in Boston with over 40 years in practice is seeking an Associate Attorney with 3 years of civil litigation experience to join their team in a hybrid work arrangement. This Attorney will ideally have experience with civil litigation, insurance defense, and/or commercial litigation matters; ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations while representing clients in litigation and advisory matters. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of civil litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense or commercial litigation. Strong legal writing, research, and advocacy skills are required. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Responsibilities: The attorney will represent clients in state and federal courts throughout Massachusetts and New England. They will analyze complex legal and factual issues and conduct thorough legal research. The role includes drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery responses. The attorney will take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts, and prepare for and participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials. They will communicate effectively with clients, carriers, and opposing counsel to provide timely updates and strategic advice, and collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy and trial preparation.
