Job Description:

Performance Foodservice is currently seeking dedicated professionals for the position of Loader on the night shift. Join our team and help us in delivering over 150,000 food and food-related products nationwide. As a vital part of our logistics arm, you will work in a dynamic warehouse environment to load and prepare goods for dispatch. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our high standards of delivery readiness are met and that customer satisfaction remains high. Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles. Check that the correct quantity and type of goods have been received and are dispatch-ready. Record any damaged, missing or faulty goods. Operate forklifts and pallet jacks. Prepare delivery forms and paperwork. Organize goods for dispatch to ensure ease of access and delivery accuracy. Ensure warehouse goals and performance metrics are met. Follow health and safety procedures and guidelines. Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs). Experience with electronic warehouse management systems. Forklift operation proficiency. Excellent organizational skills. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
