Hi everyone-We are looking for an entry levelResearch Associate to join a team within an industry leader in biopharmaceutical research located in the Greater Boston Area. Please reach out and apply if interested.Description:Position SummaryThe candidate, in this position, will support the in vitro and cell culture experiments in Non-Clinical Immunology Team developing new approaches to immunological problems in AAV therapeutics for the treatment of rare diseases. A qualified candidate should have knowledge in immunology and have basic lab experience including cell culture, sterile technique, and immune-related assays. Responsibilities Perform immunological assays, including ELISAs, multi-color flow cytometry, cytokine and complement analysis Execution of different ELISA-based immune assays Maintain cell lines and execute experiments using primary immune cells Characterize immune cell populations from peripheral blood using flow cytometry Basic protein work including western blotting Analysis and presentation of results within the team Work productively in a team environment and independently when necessarySkills:pcr dna, pcr, mammalian cell culture, western blot, molecular, AAV, Uv vis, assay development, assay, mass spectrometry, protein purification, chromatography, gel electrophoresis, capillary electrophoresis, ion exchange, affinity, cell harvestingTop Skills Details:pcr dna,pcr,mammalian cell culture,western blot,molecularAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Qualifications B.S. or equivalent degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Immunology, or related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience Basic tissue culture experience: work with primary cells is a plus. Experience with flow cytometry is a plus Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, GraphPad.
