Job Description Electrical- Mechanical Assembler---s needed for one of YOH Services clients who are major suppliers of critical power conversion technology to the medical, technology and industrial markets. This is a temp to perm opportunity and requires you to work on site in Gloucester, MA. What You Will Be Doing: Assemble, build and modify a wide range of electrical/mechanical units with minimal supervision. Responsible for performing a wide variety of tasks associated with the manufacture of electronic products. Ensure all parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product, circuit board assembly, wiring and soldering. Read production lists (parts list), assembly drawings, schematics, wire run lists, engineering folders, production notes and specifications to determine established assembly methods. Maintain a safe working environment on and around the production floor. Keep the Production Manager apprised of any condition that is not within the product standards. Perform other duties and responsibilities when required What You Need to Bring to the Table: Proof of High School Diploma/GED - Successful Completion of Drug Testing Criminal Background Check & Proof of US Citizenship. Must have birth cert or passport or naturalisation papers. 2 years--- assembly experience in the electronics industry or a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and understand assembly drawings, instructions and production lists required; the ability to read schematics a plus. Able to lift 40lbs on a regular basis. Must have good manual dexterity with small parts and hand tools. Good hand soldering skills of electronic components. IPC Certification a plus.
