Adecco is working with a global leader in providing essential power solutions to the Industrial Technology, Healthcare and Semiconductor Manufacturing Equipment sectors in Gloucester, MA who is hiring immediately for an experienced Electrical Engineer! ***This is a Direct Hire opportunity*** Company background: Our client is a designer and manufacturer of power supplies which it supplies to the electronics industry. It focuses on blue chip customers in the Healthcare, Industrial and Technology markets. It has operations in North America, Europe and Asia and is listed on the London Stock Exchange. The company has ambitious growth plans and has been consistently profitable and cash generative. Salary: $110,000 per year Job Details: The Electrical Engineer will work directly with other Manufacturing, Industrial, Process, and Test Engineers to facilitate various activities to improve the manufacturability, repeatability, and process controls related to our client's RF products. The core responsibility of the Electrical Engineer is to support the larger team in expanding our current production capacity and capabilities to meet the needs of our customers. Responsibilities: Collaborate with mechanical and test engineers to design, commission, and continuously improve electro-mechanical assemblies, fixtures, processes, and procedures to efficiently and repeatably produce high quality RF products Analyse manufacturing data and identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement; identify and utilize methods of making manufacturing process more efficient and effective Fabricate andor modify existing prototype components and fixtures for production and NPI Utilize and enhance data systems to monitor and improve first pass yield using structured problem solving to identify root cause of failures and consistent process complications Implement product and process engineering changes as required thru the ECOECR process and maintain documentation (testassembly procedures, training and operation manuals, equipmenttool calibration, etc.) Carry out manufacturability (DFMDFT) review on all new products in a timely manner Performs other duties and responsibilities as required Key Qualifications and Skills: The candidate will ideally come from the power supply industry but other candidates with electronics manufacturing experience will be considered. We are looking for the following attributes: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with RF knowledge or 5-7 years of related work experience Other engineering degrees with relevant experience may also be considered for this role Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment Preferably related to power electronics or other complex electromechanical systems Proficient with various CAD software packages (Altium preferred, OrCAD, PADS, EAGLE, etc.) Experience working in a fast-paced environment and ability to meet strict customer-based deadlines Proficient in using common desktop applications such as Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel Ability to apply common sense understanding to execute requirements delivered in various formats Benefits: In addition to competitive salary, our client offers a comprehensive benefits package, which includes company sponsored health insurance coverage, and a 401K plan.
