grow with our team at the garden center! We’re looking for
dependable, motivated individuals who learn quickly, bring a
positive attitude, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-driven
environment. Prior plant knowledge is a plus but not required—we’re
happy to train enthusiastic newcomers. We offer flexible part-time
scheduling, including early mornings, evenings, and a variety of
shift lengths. Perks include a generous employee discount and an

require weekend availability and the ability to lift between 30–70
pounds. This is a seasonal position running from February through
October, with the possibility of transitioning into a year-round
role based on performance, availability, and business needs. Our
busiest—and most exciting—season is April through June, when
teamwork and high energy are essential. Please note that time-off
requests cannot be accommodated during this peak period. If you’re

departments you will be working in: · Customer Service Team Looking
for friendly, people-oriented individuals with experience in cash
registers/POS systems and a passion for providing outstanding
customer service. Knowledge of gardening is a bonus but not
required. This is the perfect role for those who enjoy connecting
with the public in a fast-paced, supportive environment. · Green
Goods Team Do you have a passion for plants? Join our team to work
hands-on with a variety of greenery, including annuals, vegetables,
perennials, trees, and shrubs. Full and part-time roles are
available, blending plant care with sales. Depending on your
expertise, you’ll thrive in one or more plant sales areas while
collaborating with a dedicated team. · Operations Team Support the
backbone of the garden center by working with wholesale customers,
coordinating with the delivery and green goods team, and ensuring
smooth operations across all departments. Heavy equipment
experience is a plus, and top-notch customer service skills are
essential. · Inventory Team Bring your attention to detail and
organizational skills to our Inventory Team. You’ll assist with
unloading, receiving, organizing, and restocking products while
collaborating with the service teams to ensure every item is
perfectly placed for customer convenience. Requirements: Key Duties
and Responsibilities: · Provides exceptional customer service
across all departments at the garden center. · Takes personal
accountability for representing the values and company
appropriately in all situations (service, dress code, interpersonal
skills). · Promotes a positive work environment through an
inclusive and respectful approach. · Celebrates and encourages
diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace. · Strives to
drive sales by sharing product knowledge and leveraging expertise
to suggest additional products and merchandise. · Promotes customer
loyalty by encouraging customers to sign up for the Gardener’s Club
so they can stay connected with us and get exclusive notifications
of sales and in-store promotions. · Builds rapport with customers
by listening, connecting, and sharing personal experiences with
product. · Resolve problems through active listening to gain
understanding of customer’s needs. Leverages product knowledge and
problem-solving skills to solve problems promptly and effectively.
· Competently leverages technology to provide seamless and
efficient customer service. · Remains calm when faced with
uncertain issues. Demonstrates passion for learning new things.
Turns a challenge into a selling opportunity. · Assists with store
operations goals to remain efficient, accurate and productive
through processes such as organizing stock, replenishment,
receiving, seasonal merchandising changeovers, transfers, cycle
counts and physical inventory. · Remains current on all retail
division promotions/offers and informs customers of value offers,
events and educational opportunities. · Identifies pest problems,
weeds, propagation, and culture for a wide variety of plants from
flowers to fruits. · Remains current on product offer and upholds
company focus on recommendations for earth friendly gardening
solutions. · Perform carry out duties and other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: · Intermediate plant and gardening
knowledge with a passion for gardening. · Strong problem-solving,
organizational, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced
environment. · Excellent communication and customer service skills,
with the ability to research and resolve issues. · Proven
leadership experience in a team setting. · Proficiency in Microsoft
Office Suite, POS systems, and Internet search tools; ability to
learn new software quickly. · Ability to work a flexible schedule,
including evenings, weekends, and holidays. · Comfortable working
outdoors in varying weather conditions. · Ability to regularly lift
30-70 lbs. and perform physical labor. · Adherence to all company
policies and safety regulations. Physical Requirements • Ability to
lift 30-70 pounds occasionally and work outdoors in all weather
conditions. Work Environment • Ability to work around heavy
equipment and spend extended periods standing/walking on hard
surfaces.
