A Day in Your Life at MKS:As a Team Lead at MKS Instruments, you will assist in performing the operational functions required in a production department. In this role, you will report to the Team Supervisor.You will make an impact by:

• Performs planning and scheduling functions involved with coordinating products and materials through various production phases
• Implements planned production schedules, labor loading and capacity requirements
• Reviews schedules to determine materials and parts requirements to ensure materials are available according to schedules
• Selects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production functionSkills you bring:
  • Completion of high school, vocational training or equivalent is preferred
  • 6+ years of related experience required
  • Requires production experience in electro-mechanical assembly, reading, writing, and arithmetic
  • Ability to work from established drawings, and experience in soldering, wire-wrapping and cable harnessing
  • Must be able to work one Saturday a month
  • Excellent communication/troubleshooting skills
  • Excel experience required/Oracle experience preferredPhysical Demands & Working Conditions:
    • Perform activities such as sitting, standing, for extended periods of time
    • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
    • Regularly requires good manual dexterity and coordination
    • Occasionally moves/positions objects up to [50] pounds
    • Frequently positions self to perform tasks and positions objects below, at, and above shoulder level
    • Must have the ability to lift and handle optical components and equipment weighing up to [50] pounds
    • Ability to remain in a stationary position for [95]% of the time
    • Operates in a laboratory/manufacturing environment
    • Constantly interacts with specialized equipment and machinery
    • Attention to safety protocols is paramount to mitigate risks associated with assembly
    • Noise levels in the work environment are typically moderate
